Ready. Set. GROW at IMCO’s 38th Annual Convention!

IMCO, the nation’s premier association of Independent Medical Distributors wrapped up its 38th Annual Convention and Tradeshow last week at the Omni Championsgate Resort in Orlando, Florida.  “We’re truly honored to host this event each year to support and connect with our distributor Members and Vendor partners.  We believe that the Independent Medical Distributor is a vital link in the healthcare supply chain, and we are committed to their success,” said IMCO CEO Bill McLaughlin Jr. “This event continues to grow each year and has proven to be one of the best in the industry.”

The events theme this year was “Ready. Set. GROW”.  It featured impactful speakers such as keynote, Phil Hansen, an acclaimed artist and speaker, sales and leadership training, a full-day tradeshow, valuable networking, and three days of meals and evening entertainment including a Barn Costume Party headlined by Kaleb Lee with guest Prior Baird, both Top 5 finalists on The Voice in 2018.  The Member-favorite Pentathlon raised over $9,000 for Provision Packs Pantry, an organization that provides much-needed meals to at-risk children and families.

Dynarex, a manufacturer of a wide variety of disposable products and durable medical equipment, was selected as “Vendor of the Year” by IMCO Members.  Dynarex CEO, Zalman Tenenbaum and Senior Vice President John Moulden, accepted the award.  On the tradeshow floor, members collected over $1.2 million in exclusive incentives and placed orders in excess of $1 million dollars with attending vendors – closing out another successful annual event.
